About Us

As a 24 year old who has grown up in Madison County, there are many things that are different today that I could have never imagined for Madison.  All of the new shopping centers, restaurants, specialty stores and businesses that have sprung up are all contributing to the tremendous growth of Madison County.  The areas of Madison and Ridgeland that were once, long ago, the center of the cities are now being redeveloped and reconstructed with a new light.  I can remember spending weekends at my grandparent’s house (which is now The Parker House Restaurant) just wandering around the Olde Towne area and hearing stories of “the old Ridgeland”.  In “the old Ridgeland” trains would come through and pick up mail from the post office that used to be in Olde Towne, and people passing through would spend a night at the old Ridgeland Hotel (where my grandfather was born in 1922) that is still standing in the Olde Towne area.  Some qualities of this city have changed throughout the years, but with all of the growth in the Olde Towne area, the City of Ridgeland is doing tremendous work to revitalize this area and make it a place where businesses, specialty shops, restaurants, and offices can all thrive in a small town atmosphere.

Now I feel that it is my time to contribute to my community, and take part in the growth that I see before me.  Blue Moon Café is a trendy, urban restaurant specializing in panini style sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups.  While dining, don’t miss a beat of what’s going on in the world.  Feel free to bring your own laptop and take advantage of our WiFi, or just sit back and watch one of our 3 40” flat-screen televisions to catch up on the latest news, or to check the most recent game scores.  With a wide selection of menu items, and bottled beers available, make Blue Moon Café a stop for the whole family, lunch or dinner.  Located at 207 W. Jackson St.  Open Monday – Friday 10:30 – 2:00, and 4:30 – 9:00PM. Saturday 10:00AM - 10:00PM, and Sunday from 11:00AM – 2:30PM.
